Brand Ambassador at Skylum Software

Like many other photographers the editing and final output of the image is as important as the capture of it. Until November last year my primary editing software was Adobe Photoshop, which I still use but not to the same extent. In November I purchased Luminar 2018 as it was then, and to be honest I haven’t looked back since.

The software is very intuitive, easy to use and for me provides results in a fraction of the time compared to photoshop. In my opinion it provides me with better results than I was getting with photoshop due to it’s AI (artificial intelligence) technology. That’s not to say I was not very good at photoshop as I’m adobe accredited and have been using it since way back, but Skylum’s Luminar 3 and Flex software allows me to work quickly to get the results I’m after. Which in turn means I can move onto the next project, or spend more time out photographing. A win, win win situation.

Upon winning a Skylum editing competition, (the image appeared in the July issue of Practical Photography Magazine) I sat the instructor exam and on passing the exam was asked if I would become a brand ambassador for the software. This I had no hesitation in accepting…

Sure, as a photographer we are all looking to get more exposure, if you’ll forgive the pun, but I gladly accepted the ambassador position because it meant that I would be promoting a software which for me ticked every box that I was looking for in an editing package.
